Cheese question?

OK...I was grating some marble cheese for my omellete and I noticed this green hue that was throughout the cheese. It was like a mint green color and it seemed to infiltrate the whole block of cheese. After I grated it and cooked it, it had an off taste in my omelette. Now I feel really queasy! Doe anyone know what that might have been??
