Question about one of Marilyn Monroes films?

I remeber watching a bio on her a few years back and they showed a clip from a movie she did where she played babysitter. . .or something like that. . . I can't remember. It was a darker character, not like her regular bombshell, blonde charcters she was known for . . .any idea on what the movie was called?
