How would you feel after realizing this about an ex?

You know people like that become rapists; you really deserve better for yourself, you may be attached because you like the attention that he give/gave you but would it really be worth it for you to suffer? I have been in positions like this my entire life; but I realize that over time when you are ready and you have had enough you will detach I promise you, and you will find someone else better or you won't, thats really up for you to decide.
