David Bowie fans out there... need suggestions?

I have been listening to the song Space Oddity for days at work and finally googled it to see who sings it. I love this song and would like to get a David Bowie album, but there's sooo many! Any uber fans out there to give me a suggestion to a first time Bowie fan (I know.. bit late) for a first album. Any feedback will be welcome!
