Tell me if this sounds stupid?

I'm getting a small tattoo on my wrist that will say "Bella" which is the name of my dog who I truely believe saved my life. I was 13 when I got her and during that time I was depressed, friendless, and didn't care for much of anything. But she really did give me something to look forward to when I woke up. Now I actually have a life and she still manages to cheer me up. The tattoo would actually mean something so I know I wouldn't regret it but I was just wondering what other people thought about it.
