Why are Dr. Seuss books brilliant?

Because they are simplistic, yet not. They are timeless, as well. The books that were read to me as a child are now read to the future generations and they still provoke a smile, a laugh, a thought. That's why they're brilliant, they still to this day encourage children to read and write.
